Livingston Ladies FC play in the West Division of the Scottish Womens FA Leagues.
Women's football is still relatively small in Scotland and the UK as a whole which is a shame. The women's game deserves to be taken more seriously and is not the joke that the male game would like to make out.
If I had a couple of quid for each time I had been at a game and guys had come up and started to take the piss only to gradually realise that what they were watching was in fact good football and slowly change their attitudes. I wouldn't be a millionaire but I would have a nice sum to go on holiday with.
In Europe in countries like Sweden and Italy women's football is taken far more seriously and professional Leagues exist. So why don't you find out about your local team and go along to a match and enjoy yourself?
