Livingston thrashed their hosts 13-1 the last time they visited the west coast side an so hopes were high of a similarly good result. Carol Cairns set the tone of the game when she drove home the opener after 2 minutes and added a second two minutes later. Maz Pearson got in on the act on seven minutes heading home the rebound after Cairns' shot was blocked by the 'keeper. Leanne Campbell headed number four following a cross from the right. With 25 minutes gone Maz Pearson took a quick throw in to Cairns who took fuul advantage to make it 5-0. Just after the half hour mark Maz Pearson got a final touch on Cairns' netbound looping header to make the score at the interval six without reply.

Vicky Hall celebrated her first match of the new campaign three minutes after the restart when she broke through the G. Morton defence and beat 2 before stabbing home her first goal of the season. Number eight came from Donna Porter four minutes later. Livi made it nine on the hour mark when Pearson broke clear and the 'keeper could only parry her shot Cairns followed in to add her fourth of the game. Cairns then set up Porter again for number 10. Livi were awarded a penalty on 70 minutes and Campbell stepped up to take the strike but the keeper pulled off a great save and the ball was cleared. Maz Pearson made it a hat trick with Livi's 11th strike on 73 minutes before Vicky Hall added her second. Leanne Campbell atoned for her earlier miss added her second on 79 minutes. Maz added her fourth courtesy of Cairns' assist and Campbell completed the rout with her third from 20 yards three minutes from the end.
