The above statistics really do tell the story of this match, the only anomaly being the lack of a higher number in the home sides Goals for box. Livingston completely dominated and were in complete control of the whole match.

It was an interesting side which started this match with Ray Stewart playing his cards close to his chest for the visit of Paul Hegarty on his spying mission. The starting line up saw the suprise inclusion of Ian Little in the starting line up and the former Meadowbank and Stenhousemuir striker was obviously hungry to take his chance and linked well with John Millar to create the only goal of the game.

Charlie King was the star of this match but his performance was only let down by his finishing, missing a couple of good chances as did Brian McPhee but both played well enough to derserve consideration for Saturday's cup tie at Aberdeen.
