Livingston made their first ever visit to Forthbank Stadium for this encounter and ran out worthy winners in the end. John Robertson exchanged passes within minutes of the kick off and sweetly struck the ball past the helpless Gow into the net. Shortly afterwards Robbo again combined with Dave Bingham this time as creator for number two after 15 minutes and all in the ground then knew that Albion were playing for pride. Livi continued to create and spurn a number of good chances until just before half time Alan McManus headed home John Millar's flag kick for number three.

After the restart the match was won and Livi appeared to relax which could have been fatal as the home side came more into the game as an attacking force. Livingston still appeared dangerous however and Brain Martin - Albion's central defensive gorilla- should have been sent off for his game plan of kick the living S**t out of David Bingham, the referee copped out of anything other than a caution though!.

Livingston were finally caught out deep in injury time when a sleepy defence allowed Stirling to pull one back past the helpless Alexander but the match was already well won!

MoM: Alan McManus
