Livingston further increased their league win over bottom side Forfar but made heavy weather of it. The the first half was a complete non event. The game exploded into action right after the restart with two goals in as many minutes. Livi made the breakthrough in the 46th minute when a Paul Deas pass found Charlie King in the box and Charlie fired home for his seconed goal for the club.

Charlie instantly turned form Saint to sinner when his error allowed Craig to send a speculative lob past Neil Alexander who must accept some of the blame. He was ouit of position and seemed to mis-judge the flight of the ball.

Livingston then started to dominate in an attacking sense but seemed incapable of converting the pressure into goals. The winner eventually came when Jimmy Boyle crossed the ball from the right hand side to David Bingham after 70 minutes to head home.

MoM: Charlie King: The recent signing from St Johnstone lost no form after his enforced lay off due to the cup games

and caused nightmares for the Forfar defence.
