Livi completely dominated this match and should have achieved a far more comfortable result than the 2-1 final score.
Having said that the important fact is that the three points were gained and the Lions move another place up the table.
The lead was taken when Paul Deas, one of the most impressive new signings fed Brian McPhee in the box and he
turned an placed the ball low into the 'keepers bottom left corner after 21 minutes. Jim Sherry added a second
with a fantastic low rocket from 25 yds into the other corner 17 minutes later.
Livi continued to comprehensively outplay the Red Lichties for the remainder of the match and created numerous
chances but were guilty of poor finishing. The price was almost paid for that when just after snatching a consolation
through Peters the visitors passed up an excellent opportunity to equalise.
